Florida Hospital Medical Group to acquire Winter Park Urology

Florida Hospital Medical Group, an affiliate of Florida Hospital, signed a letter of intent Dec. 1 to acquire Winter Park Urology Associated P.A.
Details of the acquisition haven’t been ironed out yet, said Samantha O’Lenick, spokeswoman for Florida Hospital. But the deal would include their practice, the freestanding clinic on mills, the surgery center and the radiation oncology clinic, O’Lenick said. Winter Park Urology has 15 doctors and three nurse practitioners, according to their website. The clinic did not return calls for comment before press deadline.
“Florida Hospital has had a long-standing relationship with the doctors, and we’re excited about the possibility of the discussions,” O’Lenick said.
